Sandycroft work closely with the communities in which we work and one certainty with Sandycroft is that on our projects you will always see vans on site with local addresses and numbers on the sides. We pride ourselves on using local labour/suppliers and unlike so many of our competitors it's not window dressing, it's a sound business policy at the heart of our company ethos.
Sandycroft support the Beatrice canal boat charity and have raised over £3,000 towards this fantastic cause. The Beatrice charity was established over 30 years ago and it's aims are to give children with special needs an interesting and memorable outing in surroundings which are, for many, otherwise denied to them. The charity provides the opportunity for disabled children and adults to experience, enjoy and learn the delights of waterway cruising. The Boat offers the chance for people to participate which helps develop confidence and self-esteem and is available for group bookings from Easter to October. If you are interested in hiring the boat for people with disability or infirmity please contact the skipper, Pete Smith on 01782 319762. To know more click here.
We also support the local community in other ways:
- Our staff have received considerable training in all aspects of the construction industry and we feel that by assisting the continual improvement of individuals we have played an active part in improving the skills and abilities and ultimately the image of Staffordshire workers across the UK.
- Sandycroft sponsor Mayfield Panthers Under 8s, who play in the Burton League, and originate from the village of Mayfield in Derbyshire. They are managed by Roger Wallis and coached by Sam Howard. Click here to visit their website.
- We also sponsor Inter FC five-aside football team, who play in the Fenton Manor League Division 1.
